Charlotte Ireland – Artist / Social Worker Charlotte Ireland is finishing her second degree in Social Work, and works full-time at the Centre for Social Justice. Her areas of research include: - the critical analysis of the state's policing of political dissent; - the politics of medical marijuana; - the government's response to violence against women; and - the growing economic divide between the rich and the poor. Charlotte's collaborative efforts with Sabeth Productions is concerned with bringing attention, recognition, and meaningful change to these and other social issues in Canada. Anneli Ekborn and Charlotte have collaborated on various projects for the past eight years. Together they are developing the documentary Cannabis Rx: Behind the Politics of Medical Marijuana.
